If you’re a regular reader of BizNet you know from time to time we rip into the way companies handle phone calls and/or customer service (See this month’s Emergency Article).  To be fair they do have to deal with a fair number of stupid callers.  The below is courtesy of the fine customer service folks over at Iams http://www.iams.com/aboutiams/articles/oddcalls.html

In Their Own Words:

Here are some of the team's favorite calls this year to 1-800-863-IAMS (4267):

"My cat just came in from the garage and I was wondering...how many calories are in a mouse?" -- cat owner, Omak, WA

"I have a neutered male cat. How old should he be before I can breed him?" - cat owner, Colorado Springs, CO

"Does your dog food help with emancipation?" - dog owner, Lockport, NY

"How can I get the secret recipe for your Iams® Chunks dog food?" - dog owner, Anchorage, AK

"How do I stop my cat from giving food to the dog?" - pet owner, Ephrata, WA

"Your food turned my dog into a stud. Now what do I do?" - dog owner, Flushing, NY

"Do you know how to toilet train a cat?" - kitten owner, Ontario, Canada

"Where can I get a six-toed cat?" - cat owner, El Paso, TX

Remember What I Said Last Month About Idiots........

Last month I meet a real live idiot.  I was waiting to buy a Lotto Ticket (I know, that may qualify me as an Idiot) at a local Lotto Machine.  He put in his buck.  Over the next ten minutes her tried to get the machine to work.   He finally gave up and told me I could use the machine.  I tried to hand him a buck for the buck he put in the machine, but he did not want it.  I then got $5.00 in Lotto Tickets.  When the machine printed the ticket this guy grabs it.  It took the store manager and the security guard 10 minutes to get the guy to turn over the ticket.  We gave him his buck... But... Ready for this... The moron tore it up and threw it on the floor.
