At my home office I have been playing with a great little phone system from Nortel (http://www.nortelnetworks.com/index.html). It’s called the "Venture" System, and if you need a phone or phones that can handle up to 3 lines, then this is a system you should look at. With all the great features it has it’s hard to know where to start...

Almost, that is... The first time you hear the speakerphone on this system you will say "WOW".... This is a great phone. No tiny sound from this phone. The speakerphone on this system has a specially designed and ported speaker for extremely great sound. Nortel also worked on the "Mic", you don’t have that traditional and irritating speaker phone sound to the person your talking to. | |||
One of the most annoying aspects of having several "Feature" reach phones is programming all the numbers into all the phones. Not with this system. Program your auto dial numbers into just one phone, then you can send that information to all the other phones plugged into the system.
The Venture has the look and feel of a phone system designed by someone who actually uses a phone. Have you ever been talking on one line, and gone to answer the other line, only to realize you forgot to hit the hold key? This phone will automatically put the call on hold. No more OOPS, sorry about that. Want to hang up? just hit the key marked "good-bye"..... Now that’s easy to understand.
The total system is easy to install. Other options and features include, station-to-station paging, station-to-station conferencing, Intercom, caller ID, separate ring sound and volume for each line, and more. Nortel offers an available module to give you music on hold, remote door open, and door intercom.
