Everyone knows we are in the so-called 'Information Age.' Just how fast do you get your messages? Do you have instant access to important e-mail messages? Can your office get a message to you in 90 seconds flat? Would either of these help you expand your business or your client base?

In today's business climate, any and every advantage must be used to stay on top and to stay competitive. For those of you that spend most of your time out of the office, on the road, or at client sites, the mobile office is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity.

So, how do you stay on top of that E-mail? How do you receive important messages from your office? One of the most cost-effective methods in use today is the alphanumeric or text pager combined with specialized computer software. The software allows a computer user at the office to enter a message and have it reliably dispatched to your pager. Another software product will retrieve your Internet and/or LAN e-mail at specified times, and, through selective filtration, dispatch only those messages that are critical to your business. Less important messages can be retrieved at your leisure.

How much time and money do you save by having important messages in the palm of your hand? One alternative is a cellular phone to receive information from your office, which based on Murphy's Law, will inevitably interrupt an important client meeting. Another is a cellular or wireless modem that can be used with a laptop computer to dial in and check your e-mail from time to time if your batteries are still strong enough. You're right! Both are expensive!

Alphanumeric pagers save time and they save money on cellular phone charges. They also provide the opportunity for you to decide how to respond to information instead of having to react to it.

Your computer is at home. You are in the field. You've got an E- Mail message. No problem! No Problem! Wireless e-mail messaging software will forward Internet and/or LAN e-mail messages to your alphanumeric pager in approximately 90 seconds. If you do not have an alphanumeric pager, it will send numeric codes to your numeric pager notifying you that you have e-mail.

E-mail Connect is easy to install. Using message filters, you have the ability to control which messages are to be forwarded immediately based on day, date, time, subject or sender name. Messages that are not transmitted are stored for your later review. You specify how much or how little of the message content is to be transmitted to your pager.
