Are
You Dog Tired Of Slow Search Engines And Slow Speed Results |
In
the beginning I loved Yahoo.
Until it started with routinely giving me useless hits.
Now, as far as I’m concerned, it’s worthless.
Then
I started to use Alta Vista.
Until it started with all those useless hits, etc...
Then
I started using Hotbot......
Ect........
Why
do so many companies insist on screwing up a great search engine by improving
the way it searches to the point that it gives you so many hits, it’s totally
worthless even if the answer you’re looking for is buried in there somewhere!
Well,
I have discovered that when it comes to dinging out the information from all
those search engines, I have a new love.
http://www.dogpile.com
Dogpile.
Try it you will see an amazing thing.
It is extremely fast...
And I mean FAST!
I do not know how it runs so fast but I don’t care how.
I just know it saves me a ton of time.
Now
Dogpile is not your usual search engine.
In fact it does not search the net the same way the other search engines
do.
What Dogpile does is to search the search engines.
It takes your search to several search engines and lists the results from
all the search engines.
Now
here is the part I love.
It gives you the results faster then if you ran the search on the subject
search engine yourself.
Don’t believe me?
Try it yourself.
Go to say excite (http://www.excite.com) enter any search you want to.
Start the search and time it to see how long it takes to get your hits.
Then go to http://www.dogpile.com and try the same search.
Dogpile will get the results faster and not only from Excite, but from
several other search engines at the same time.
To
save even more time when searching, try right clicking on any links you want to
follow.
Instead of opening the link in the window you’re looking at, have your
browser open it in a new window.
This way you can keep reading the rest of the results as the “new”
page loads.
If you do this with all the links you want to follow, you will find you
spend more time reading, then waiting for a link to load.
Don’t forget to close the windows when you're done reading the inf., or
you will end up with too many windows open and hit memory problems.
So,
make Dogpile your first search engine of choice.
I believe you will find it the fastest way to get information from your
favorite search engine.
