Yada Yada … Close But No Meaningful
Conversation By Mike Lipshultz |
Boy, this Bluetooth Headset from Yada
Products is so close to being the greatest thing out there… But Close Does Not
Make It! I really wanted to like
this headset. One, it has a really
cutie name, and two, it is the start of a great idea.
So, what did they get right? Well first take a look at it at:
http://letsyada.com/products.php?product_id=1
This is a neat little Bluetooth cell
phone headset that “Lives” in it’s charger base.
And the charger base can be mounted lots of places in your car, truck or?
It will even easily clip to the A/C vents.
When you place the headset back into the holder it starts to recharge.
And when ever the car is on the headset is on and ready to go.
Paring it to your phone is a snap. You
are in the car. Phone rings, put
Yada headset in your ear and start talking.
OK, so what is wrong with it?
Well the big thing was every time I
tried to use this thing in anything but a sitting-upright position, the headset
fell out of my ear. I tried left
and right ears. It comes with three
ear-adaptors. I tied all three. It
just seemed like it was bottom heavy and if I tilted my head to much… Out it
fell.
And if that was not enough, I found at
times I needed to disconnect it from the car’s power.
You see, when it has power and is in it’s cradle it is not only
charging, but is also on. You can
only turn it off if you keep it out of the cradle.
So if you do not want to use it, you have to keep it out of the cradle.
But, if it is low on power and you need to charge it, you have to have it
in the cradle. And then it stays
on!
Man… I wanted to kill this
thing…….
To the folks at Yada….. You are really close to having a great product… Please keep working on it and think about these things…..
Fix the falling out of the era thing.
Make it so you can keep it turned off in the charger.
Hay, you also make Bluetooth speaker
phones…. Combine one with the Yada cradle.
Than bang! You will have a
killer deal.
A customer would have a Bluetooth speaker phone and headset in one neat package.
